The Gibsons Community Building Society is planning to have a soft opening for the Gibsons Public Market in January.
Pam Robertson, President of the building society says there will be three phases and towards the end of January, the main and upper floor will be open along with their bistro operator, Armels.

Robertson says the last phase will be the opening of the Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre and they’re hoping to make that happen for June.
