The Sechelt Hospital expansion is complete.
The project, which was announced in 2007 is officially finished as the final piece of the puzzle, the Ambulatory Care Unit is now complete.
Karin Olson with Vancouver Coastal Health says it’s a big day for the community.
Olson says with the expansion complete, the travel component for local residents will be reduced as they can receive adequate care closer to home.
