The Salvation Army Furniture Shop is now open on Mostar Road, around the corner from the Restore.
Dawne Anderson says they have a selection of new and used furniture pieces.
She says residents who have a piece of furniture, that’s in good condition, can drop it off at the Shop, but the item should be in good shape…..
The money raised from the venture will be used to support the Salvation Army’s meal program, emergency shelter, as well as transitional housing.
The ribbon cutting on the new store is at 11, hot dogs will be served from ten to noon today (Sat).
