TELUS invests a little over $2.5 million in Sechelt to enhance PureFibre network

Sechelt is getting a major investment courtesy of TELUS to boost their network. 

As part of a $17 billion investment over the next five years across B.C., Sechelt will receive $2.6 million to enhance wireless connectivity and connect more homes and businesses together across their PureFibre network, 

President and CEO of TELUS Darren Entwistle said this large-scale investment allows British Columbians access to important news that matters to them at a timelier matter. 

“These investments will ensure that our customers continue to benefit from the best network experience in the world, which facilitates crucial, generational changes in healthcare, education, teleworking, the environment and our digital economy and societies.” 

The investment in Sechelt is set to support innovation, economic growth, and help build a stronger community.

TELUS will have invested $73 billion across Canada by 2028 at the end of this five-year investment.
