There’s lots happening in Nanaimo for Canada Day tomorrow, all centred in Maffeo Sutton Park.
The party starts at 11 am with the Celebration of Flags and opening ceremonies at the main stage. Afterwards there will be live music into the afternoon, featuring the Moonshine Mollies, the Kiltlifters, and the Pickups.
There will be dancing at the cultural community stage throughout the afternoon, face painting and bouncy castles of the kids, and a variety of food trucks for everyone to enjoy.
