Sunshine Coast RCMP are looking for your help in the investigation of three incidents.
They took place between December 20 and December 21 and are believed to be related and not random in nature.
Police say the first incident took place at 12:40 a.m. on the 20th, where a man was stabbed at the 12800 block of Sunshine Coast Highway.
Before officers arrived at the scene, two male suspects left the area in a vehicle. They say the victim was airlifted to a lower mainland hospital with serious injuries but has since been released.
At 11:00 p.m. the same day, police got a report of a man who had been shot in the Rondeview area of Francis Peninsula Road in Madeira Park, where two male suspects also left the scene by vehicle before police arrived.
The victim is recovering from the gunshot wound.
The last incident happened between 11:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., when a vehicle crashed into a ditch on Eureka Place near Redrooffs Road in Halfmoon Bay. That vehicle is suspected to be the same one from the shooting.
If you may have witnessed either of these incidents or have CCTV/dashcam footage from those dates/times, call Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266.
